Participation in the Hats Off Day Street Party is an excellent method for businesses to obtain exposure and promote themselves to the 60,000 visitors attending this exciting annual event. To keep our very local, neighbourhood atmosphere and purpose of the festival, Hats Off Day does not accept outside vendors or non-Burnaby not-for-profit societies.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Burnaby Heights-based and North Burnaby-based organizations.
2. Cultural groups representing the people of Burnaby are also eligible to participate, even if the cultural group’s society/association may be based outside of Burnaby.
3. Government agencies and departments with a connection or mandate to serve Burnaby or this district, or government departments with a regional or national mandate that adds value to the festival, may also apply to have a spot in the festival.
4. Political associations representing any political parties representative of the Burnaby Heights jurisdiction. However, they MUST respect the spirit of Hats Off Day being a non-partisan and non-political event.

This form is considered an expression of interest, if you are not selected for Hats Off Day 2026 you will remain in our files for potential entertainers for future Hats Off Days.

Priority goes to Burnaby Heights or Burnaby-based entertainers, but performers from the Lower Mainland are all welcome to apply!
